Job Summary
Married couples are sought to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living in on-campus student homes and supervising 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to adhere to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Committed to Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications to be considered
