Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents needed to live on-campus in Hershey-area student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving to activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role is a two-person, married-couple position with initial nine-on/three-off duty cycles, transitioning to a placed Houseparent in the same student home, with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits included. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be age 27 or older.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
