Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on Milton Hershey School’s campus to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing household routines and budgeting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. The position requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability options, retirement savings, PTO, and meals/utilities with on-duty housing. The work schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with on-campus living and a strong emphasis on creating a family-like environment and supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
