Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents: reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, including administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting; initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
