Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance. The role follows a nine days-on, three days-off schedule with eventual placement into a fixed student-home assignment. Benefits include base salary per person with total compensation around $168,000 per couple plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and being part of a legally married couple (both spouses 27+). Relocation assistance and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
