Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for groups of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Benefits include a salary per person, extensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years, must both apply individually
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
