Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus Full-time Flex Houseparents provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule initially consists of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Two-person role for couples
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
