Job Summary
Two-person Full-time on-campus role as Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for approximately 8–13 students, including managing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. Work schedule starts with a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle, with potential progression to a placed houseparent in the same home. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a strong commitment to a safe, smoke- and weapon-free campus; relocation assistance and paid training provided. For consideration, both spouses must submit individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-person role
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license or ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Ability to reside on-campus in student homes
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited (religious activities only as described)
