Job Summary
Flexible Pairs: Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students; role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then progresses to a Placed Houseparent living in the same student home. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and ensuring student wellness. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, must be age 27+, and complete individual applications. On-campus housing, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse marital requirement for two-person role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prohibited while on duty: alcohol on campus; pet policy restrictions (fish and one dog)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
