Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, paired as a two-person married couple, and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, accompanying Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on duty followed by three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same students. Required Qualifications
- Experience working with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Clean driving record and driver’s license
- Ability to lead devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel services
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Eligible for certification to drive student home vans
