Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus reside in student homes serving approx. 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, medications administration, transportation, and planning/developmental activities; they lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
