Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes near Hershey, PA, to supervise, mentor, and support 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, planning and leading activities, administering medications as needed, transporting students to activities, coordinating household routines and budgeting, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role transitions from nine days on / three off to a Placed Houseparent assignment living with the same student group. Requires a legally married couple with at least two years together, both spouses aged 27+, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and alcohol-free campus. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement savings, PTO, and housing while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Proven experience with youth or volunteering with youth
- Certification to drive student home vans (or ability to become certified)
