Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside on campus in student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students, manage routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental activities, lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, both spouses being legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old, valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a willingness to live on-campus in a family-like environment. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to reside on-campus in student homes
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proficiency in leading daily devotions and accompanying students to religious services
Additional Requirements
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Alcohol prohibited while on duty
