Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents who are a legally married two-person team will reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition into a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students in their own home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
- Willingness to reside in on-campus student homes and follow schedule (nine consecutive days on, three days off)
- Ability to pass background checks and training requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
