Flex Houseparents (two-person married-couple role) reside on an on-campus student home at Milton Hershey School and provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a consistent student-home assignment. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation for a couple (~$168,000), relocation assistance, comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and training; qualifications require youth-related experience, a two-year married status for both spouses, age 27+, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift 50 lbs.
