Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from initial multi-home placement to living with a single student home. The role requires a two-person married couple, with both spouses aged 27 or older, and includes relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
