Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (a two-person married couple) reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision and mentorship to ~8–13 students, manage routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent where the couple lives and works with the same group of students in a dedicated home. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits; requires two individual applications from both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
