Job Summary
Provide companionship and emotional support, assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting), light housekeeping and laundry, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments and errands as part of in-home caregiving. Follow individualized care plans, help clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence, communicate professionally with families and team members, and perform other caregiving duties as assigned; requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet employment screenings. Flexible full-time and part-time schedules available with benefits and ongoing training in Sarasota area.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to complete all employment requirements and screenings
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Clean driving record
- Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred, but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Access to email and a smartphone
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion at all times
