Job Summary
Caregivers provide non-medical home care to seniors in their homes in Glen Ellyn, IL. Responsibilities include medication reminders, assisting with ambulation and mobility, personal care and hygiene, helping clients complete physical therapy and other exercises, assisting with shopping or accompanying to shops, light housekeeping and meal preparation, reporting unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator, following the care plan, and acting quickly and responsibly in emergencies. Ideal candidates have 1+ year home care experience, a valid driver license, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and interpersonal skills, reliability, and a compassionate bedside manner.
