Job Summary
Welcome parents and children daily as the nursery's primary point of contact via email and telephone, ensuring all communications meet allocated SLAs. Own the 'Go Beyond' experience by managing the Parent Breakfast Bar, overseeing settling-in sessions, and maintaining impeccable building standards through liaison with maintenance. Lead the Nursery Operations team, including kitchen and cleaning staff, while managing rotas, budgets, procurement, and commercial performance to hit 95% occupancy targets. Handle compliance actions like Right to Work verifications and support marketing and events coordination. Work flexible hours from 6:30am to 7:30pm, covering Family Rooms and providing lunch coverage as required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience either in a customer facing role or an operational role
- Proven track record of prioritising and multi-tasking under pressure
- Experienced, and competent, user of ICT systems (including Mac computers) and willingness to develop skills
- Must be competent in Google suite, specifically navigating Google Sheets
- Experience of budget management and procurement
- A solution-focused decision maker, with a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to achieve N Family Club's wildly important goals
- Higher education qualification or relevant professional experience
- Able to communicate and influence clearly using a variety of techniques (oral and in writing)
- A rigorous, structured and organised approach to everything you do
- Able to reflect on oneself, respond positively and improve
- Happy to work an early/ late shift pattern and the occasional weekend/ evening
- High energy brought to every task you take on, and a solutions-driven approach to problems
- Able to manage workload and time effectively to deliver desired results
