Job Summary
Travel regionally to perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, unloading trailers with manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages while scanning products upon delivery. Drive late model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with in-cab cameras, working assignments that require being away from home two to three weeks per trip. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area while lifting up to 50lbs frequently and occasionally moving up to 100lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work the required schedule
- Ability to work at the specific location required
- Ability to complete Penske employment application
- Ability to submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
