Job Summary
Provide clinical services to residents in skilled nursing, assisted living, and rehabilitation settings under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist. Teach techniques for mobility and stretching, evaluate living skills, and assist in selecting activities to foster independence. Build trust-based relationships with residents and families while instructing them on adaptive equipment use and in-home programs. Monitor progress, document care services, and recommend treatment plan adjustments based on individual goals. Collaborate with the broader care team to support a warm, inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited therapy program
- 2–3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant state license
- CPR certification
