Job Summary
The Flex Surgical Equipment Technician I repairs surgical medical equipment/instruments within an assigned modality. Responsibilities include inspecting, evaluating, testing equipment, disassembling/assembling, repairing defective parts, and documenting services and parts used. Requires hands-on mechanical/technical skills, ability to sit/stand, bend, lift up to 20 lbs, and use various tools and precision instruments. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of repair experience. Must operate computer devices/systems as needed and adhere to Visual Work Place standards. Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs. May require handling small parts and maintaining modality/department standards.”,
