Job Summary
Cover vacant security shifts between 05:00-22:00 seven days a week, including potential overnight rotations, while maintaining availability for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Perform duties across the Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, and Iowa City areas, with interviews and onboarding conducted at the Cedar Rapids branch. Maintain a valid driver's license and pass required background checks, motor vehicle reports, and drug screens. Shifts may be assigned on short notice. This as-needed role offers a pathway to full-time permanent employment for candidates available for weekend and summer work, with occasional travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a Federal State of Iowa background check, motor vehicle report and 4 panel drug screen
- Must be available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
- Must come to the Cedar Rapids branch for interviews and potentially onboard
- Shifts may come up on short notice
- High School Diploma/GED
- Drivers License
- Travel is required occasionally
