Job Summary
Conduct security patrols and monitor premises across the Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Mt. Pleasant, and surrounding areas. Maintain a valid driver's license for vehicle-based duties and pass a Federal State of Iowa background check, motor vehicle report, and four-panel drug screen. Work flexible shifts including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with availability required for weekend coverage and short-notice calls of two hours minimum. This As Needed role serves as a potential pathway to full-time employment at Per Mar Security, the Midwest's largest family-owned security firm. Interviews and onboarding occur at the Cedar Rapids Branch.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a Federal State of Iowa background check, motor vehicle report and 4 panel drug screen
- Must be available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
- Must come to the Cedar Rapids branch for interviews and potentially onboard
- High School Diploma/GED
- Drivers License
