Job Summary
Report to assigned client sites across the portfolio to deter criminal activity, respond to alarms and emergencies by contacting emergency teams, and conduct periodic patrols for unsafe conditions or violations. Prepare clear incident reports using security software and access control systems while executing radio and telephone communications in a high-pressure environment. Maintain reasonable availability for shift offers based on operational needs and perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor. Valid FL Security D License and driver's license required with two years of customer service or one year of security experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid FL Security D License
- Valid FL Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
- Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
- Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
- Willingness and ability to work across multiple client sites and shifts based on operational need
Desired Qualifications
- Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred
