Flex Retail Security Officer

On-Call Flex Security Officer in a retail environment providing security coverage as needed; patrols entrances and perimeters, controls movement of pedestrians and vehicles, escorts materials and personnel, inspects security and fire exposures, and performs duties per post orders. Maintains professional image, delivers excellent customer service, and coordinates with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. Responsibilities include reporting to post in uniform, proactive updates to post orders, documenting observations through Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, monitoring cameras and alarms, and ensuring life safety system knowledge and safe operation of elevators and access doors. Must be adaptable, reliable, able to report to work on short notice, and communicate effectively with the Security Supervisor. Skills include vigilant observation, teamwork, urgency, and strong oral/written communication.
