Flex Retail Security Officer

On-Call Flex Security Officer provides supplemental security coverage in a retail environment, filling shifts due to call-offs, vacations, staffing shortages, and peak business needs. Roles are not regularly scheduled and hours are not guaranteed; shifts may be offered on short notice. Responsibilities include controlling entrances and movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, completing reports, maintaining knowledge of emergency policies, and communicating with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. Maintain professional image and excellent customer service while staying aware of surroundings; follow post orders and adapt to post locations and post orders as assigned.
