Flex Retail Security Officer

On-Call Flex Security Officer provides supplemental security coverage in a retail environment, filling shifts due to call-offs, staffing shortages, or peak periods. Roles are not regularly scheduled and hours are not guaranteed; positions require availability for designated days and times, and duties include controlling entrances, patrolling, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and maintaining professional interactions with customers, law enforcement, and fire departments. Must stay informed of post orders, report suspicious activity, monitor cameras and emergency procedures, complete daily and incident reports, and support loss prevention and safety initiatives. Training and compliance with customer and agency guidelines are required; role emphasizes adaptability, reliability, and customer service orientation.
