Job Summary
On-Call Flex Retail Security Officer providing supplemental security coverage in a retail environment. Responsibilities include patrol of buildings and perimeters, control of entrances and movement, escort of material and personnel, inspection of security and fire exposures, and completion of daily activity/incident reports. Must be adaptable, report to post in full uniform, greet customers and employees professionally, stay informed of post orders, monitor cameras as required, know life safety systems, and communicate any security issues to the Security Supervisor. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work with urgency in a security-focused environment are essential.
