Flex Retail Security Officer

On-call Flex Security Officer providing security coverage in a retail environment. Responsibilities include controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain a professional image with customers and staff, greet visitors, stay up-to-date with post orders, report suspicious activity, and coordinate with local law enforcement or fire departments as needed. Conduct daily activity, incident, and logbook reports; recommend improvements to safety and loss prevention; operate life-safety systems, CCTV equipment, and elevators; and follow emergency procedures. Flex Officers work as needed with shifts offered on short notice, and must provide available days/times to be contacted and report to work when required. Skills include strong customer service, vigilance, teamwork, clear communication, adaptability, and the ability to work under varying post orders across locations.
