Flex Retail Security Officer

Job Summary
Provide security detail as outlined in post orders for South Hills Village with an emphasis on customer service and professional demeanor. Duties include controlling entrances and pedestrian/vehicle movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, handling special assignments, monitoring cameras, maintaining incident reports, and coordinating with local authorities. Maintain knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and related equipment; ensure safe operation of elevators and access doors; communicate security issues daily with the Security Supervisor; and assist in loss prevention and safety improvements as identified.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in security operations preferred
- Ability to patrol, monitor cameras, and respond to incidents
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional image and adherence to post orders
- Ability to complete reports and maintain documentation
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and life safety systems
