Flex Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health

Flex Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health provides direct and indirect patient care, collaborates with the care team, and demonstrates leadership by mentoring and role-modeling for other health care team members. Responsibilities include coordination and delegation of care in a safe, secure, and clean environment; ensuring patient rights, dignity, confidentiality, and expressed needs are respected; applying evidence-based practice and health IT to relieve pain and anxiety; operating under the Florida Nurse Practice Act and TMH policies, procedures, and mission/ICARE values; reporting to the RN/Director Psychiatry with no supervisory roles. The role emphasizes patient-centered care within a psychiatric hospital setting and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
