Job Summary
MedSpeed Medical Driver responsibilities include safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials in a company-owned vehicle; operate a hand-held scanning device to track items; observe operating policies and service schedules; present a professional image to clients; load and unload items; perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections; participate in route duties that may vary across assigned routes; work with teammates and clients to foster collaboration and a positive team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age
- Active driver’s license for 3 years
- Ability to pass initial and random drug screen
- Ability to pass background check and motor vehicle record review
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods
- Comfortable driving company-owned vehicle
- Demonstrated dependability and reliability
- Familiarity with technology
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
