Job Summary
Monitor and report all facility activity through interior and exterior foot, vehicular, golf cart, and bicycle patrols. Identify security threats, unsafe conditions, and emergency situations while enforcing site rules, policies, and post orders. Respond to incidents in conformity with the Use of Force Policy, ensuring appropriate action is taken, reports are completed, and parties are notified. Write detailed, accurate incident reports during the shift and contact site supervision or field management as directed. Provide customer service and support functions as assigned, including loss prevention, retail security, and elevator or loading dock security. Maintain acceptable attendance and adhere to grooming and customer service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with no restrictions
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid registration/permit/license required by the state in which the employee is employed
- Ability to provide reliable transportation (or access public transportation) to consistently get to and from work on time
- Texas Level 2 certification
- Current or prior military experience, or college education in the security field
- Minimum 1-3 years of professional-level work experience
- Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, military, and/or customer service
- Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry
- Must possess a valid registration/permit/license required by the state in which the employee is employed
- Must successfully complete a background investigation
- Must successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test where required by the Company or client
- Must maintain current active status of all necessary registrations/licenses/permits required by the jurisdiction
- Must carry the appropriate documents at all times while on duty
- Must be able to walk long distances
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to kneel and bend to look into tight spaces

- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be available for days, evenings, and overnight shifts

Desired Qualifications
- Current or prior military experience, or college education in the security field
- Minimum 1-3 years of professional-level work experience preferred
- Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, military, and/or customer service highly desired
- Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry a plus
