Flex Associate

Flex Associates assist the stores organization with workforce planning during periods when regularly scheduled full-time and part-time associates are not available due to planned absences such as vacation, or unplanned absences such as illness. They may be utilized when fluctuations in business activity necessitate supplemental workers and may assist in selling and support functions in the store including sales and customer support. Responsibilities include greeting customers, educating on current promotions, locating merchandise based on customer needs, maintaining knowledge of store inventory, processing sales transactions with the POS system, promoting Saks credit card programs, building customer relationships, executing store programs and events, maintaining displays and fixtures, adhering to brand standards and asset protection procedures, and supporting shortages/theft awareness. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in retail or sales, a proven sales track record, customer-service excellence, knowledge of fashion, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
