Job Summary
We are seeking a professional Security Guard to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment by patrolling the premises, monitoring entrances/exits for authorized access, removing trespassers when necessary, operating surveillance equipment, and responding to suspicious activity. The position emphasizes protecting our premises, assets, and employees, reporting daily activities and security incidents, and maintaining high visibility to deter incidents. Ideal candidates have experience in public safety/security, possess a high school diploma/GED, and demonstrate strong written communication, integrity, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Training, development, and opportunities for advancement are offered; the role features a flexible, part-time schedule and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
- Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
- Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
