Job Summary

Operate a mobile pressure washer to clean trucks, trailers, and company vehicles, removing dirt, mud, asphalt, and debris. Fuel vehicles as they return to the yard and perform basic visual inspections to identify mechanical or safety concerns. Complete minor repairs and document major defects for corrective action while maintaining pressure-washing and fueling equipment. Keep the fleet yard, wash area, and surrounding work zones clean, organized, and safe. Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE. This hands-on role supports the Transportation Department in keeping the fleet ready for crews, requiring a valid driver's license and ability to work independently.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to safely operate pressure-washing and fueling equipment
  • Ability to safely lift and handle hoses, tools, equipment, and materials
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, climb, and remain active throughout the workday
  • Ability to work second shift and adjust working hours as operational needs require
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential safety or mechanical issues
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with commercial trucks, heavy equipment, fleet maintenance, or a similar environment
  • CDL
