Job Summary
Fleet Technology Specialist oversees the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of fleet management technologies, including telematics, GPS tracking, diagnostic software, CAD/AVL, CCTV surveillance, and related digital tools to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. Responsibilities include interpreting fleet data, generating reports, recommending process improvements, installing and maintaining electrical systems, performing on-site inspections during bus manufacturing, supporting vendor warranty programs, ensuring contractor compliance with fleet technology maintenance programs, and coordinating with drivers, administration, management, and vendors. The role requires strong technical and analytical abilities, experience with fleet management software, ability to read electrical schematics, and willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed; licensing requirements include Oklahoma state licensure with a Class D Operators License and a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with electro-mechanical devices and technical equipment
- minimum 2-3 years of experience in fleet technology, transportation operations, or logistics
- experience with fleet management software (e.g., Samsara, Geotab, Verizon Connect, or similar systems)
- ability to read electrical/electronic schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams
- strong analytical and reporting skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- availability for evening/weekend shifts as needed
- must be licensed in the state of Oklahoma and hold a Class D Operators License
