Job Summary
Maintain and repair a fleet of trailers and equipment at a customer facility (including 140 dry vans, 120 reefer trailers, and 6 yard horses). Complete repair orders, PM lists, and parts usage forms; communicate effectively with supervisor, team members, and customers; stay current on technical and regulatory requirements; perform road service calls and road rescue/transport equipment as required; maintain a clean and safe work environment per safety rules and government guidelines. Requires 2 years of experience as an automotive, truck, bus, or trailer technician; valid driver’s license with CDL preferred; tools on hand. Factory training and certification reimbursements are provided; 4-day work week; comprehensive benefits; sign-on bonus for highly qualified technicians.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as an automotive, truck, bus, or trailer technician
- Valid driver’s license
- CDL preferred
- Owns and maintains proper hand tools
- New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate preferred but not required
