Job Summary

Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy, medium, light-duty vehicles, trailers, and powered industrial truck equipment. Diagnose mechanical failures, troubleshoot brake, suspension, electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems, and respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs. Complete DOT inspections and documentation while maintaining accurate repair records in the Fleet Management Tool. Work independently with minimal supervision to ensure fleet reliability, safety, and operational uptime. Schedule is Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with Sunday shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of fleet maintenance experience
  • Experience servicing at least two of the following: Diesel vehicles, Light and medium duty trucks, Trailers, PIT Equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor and direction
  • Ability to diagnose root cause vs symptoms
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT compliance
  • Basic proficiency with fleet management or work order systems
  • Basic Computer skills to include knowledge of web-based fleet tools and MS Office 365
  • Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily
