Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet assets including diesel vehicles, Power Industrial Trucks, and vans to maximize uptime. Perform advanced diagnostics on electrical systems, engine performance, hydraulic, and fuel components while executing preventative maintenance aligned with DOT standards. Respond to roadside breakdowns and urgent service calls, then accurately document all diagnostics, repairs, and parts usage. Identify repeated failures and maintenance inefficiencies to support continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing fleet management tools and MS Office 365. This role requires 2-4 years of fleet maintenance experience and is based in Miami.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of fleet maintenance experience across light/medium/heavy-duty vehicles
- Strong working knowledge of diesel, gasoline, propane and/or electric systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor and direction
- Ability to diagnose root cause vs symptoms
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT compliance
- Basic proficiency with fleet management or work order systems
- Basic Computer skills to include knowledge of web-based fleet tools and MS Office 365
- Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman electrician
- Experience with welding
- Gasoline, diesel, propane and/or electric vehicle experience preferred
- ASE certification and CDL license or certification strongly preferred
