Job Summary
Fleet Technician for Coke Florida responsible for scheduling and performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all company fleet vehicles. Duties include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and completing repairs on a variety of vehicles, performing preventative maintenance, responding to service calls, maintaining tools and workspace, and picking up/delivering vehicles. Minimum 1 year of mechanic experience on light/heavy equipment is required; experience with heavy-duty and PIT equipment is desired. ASE certification and CDL license or certification are strongly preferred; 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, and ability to work a schedule from 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Monday through Friday, at the Sarasota, FL location. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment
- Experience with heavy duty and PIT equipment
- Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) policy guidelines
- ASE certification and CDL license or certification strongly preferred
- 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience highly preferred
