Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, and oil changes on fleet vehicles. Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions across engines, transmissions, brake systems, and electrical components. Execute prescribed preventive maintenance services and accurately record time, parts, and inspection checklists. Overhaul engines, transmissions, gear trains, and hydraulic systems while brazing or welding frames and sheet metal. Utilize computer-driven diagnostic software to test vehicles post-repair and verify quality service deliverables. Requires ASE certifications, diesel engine technical training, and proficiency in vehicle diagnostic tools. Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and paid training available.
Required Qualifications
- Performing preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on fleet vehicles
- Routine Maintenance, oil changes, electrical services, and lubrication
- Accurately record time, parts, and PM inspection checklists
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all fleet vehicles
- Perform prescribed Preventative Maintenance services
- Diagnoses and identifies vehicle and equipment malfunctions and determines corrective actions to be taken through tests and inspections
- Tests vehicles and equipment after repairs
- Verifies completion of repairs to ensure a quality service deliverable
- Repairs or overhauls engines, transmissions, gear trains, differentials, steering systems, brake systems, clutch systems, electrical systems, power takeoffs, hydraulic and pneumatic lifts and controls, and related components
- Brazes or welds frames, sheet metal and various equipment components, such as trailers
- ASE certifications
- Diesel Engine Technical degree and/or training
