Job Summary
Fleet Technician role performing diesel truck and trailer inspections, repairs, and maintenance to meet safety and performance standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, performing routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections), troubleshooting trailer systems (brakes, suspension, lighting, hydraulics), ensuring regulatory safety compliance, and maintaining accurate maintenance records as part of a collaborative team. Competitive pay from $22-$31.50/hour with shift differentials, benefits, boot/tool allowances, and year-round workload.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics
- CDL or certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- A team player with a commitment to quality and safety
