Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers to meet safety and performance standards. Diagnose and fix diesel engine issues from minor tune-ups to major overhauls. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections. Troubleshoot and repair trailer systems including brakes, suspension, lighting, and hydraulics. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep accurate maintenance records. Work as part of a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- CDL or certifications are a plus but not required
- Team player with a commitment to quality and safety
