Job Summary
Fleet Technician responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and trailers to meet safety and performance standards. Role involves diagnosing and fixing diesel engine issues, performing routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections), and troubleshooting trailer systems (brakes, suspension, lighting, hydraulics). Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain accurate maintenance records while collaborating with a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics
- CDL or certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Team player with commitment to quality and safety
