Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers, diagnose and fix diesel engine issues from tune-ups to major overhauls, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and repair trailer systems (brakes, suspension, lighting, hydraulics), ensure safety compliance and keep maintenance records; collaborate with a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- CDL or certifications are a plus but not required
