Job Summary
Fleet Technician opportunity at Ashley Furniture in Arcadia, WI. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and trailers to meet safety and performance standards; diagnosing diesel engine issues from routine to major overhauls; performing routine maintenance such as oil changes and brake inspections; troubleshooting and repairing trailer systems (brakes, suspension, lighting, hydraulics); ensuring safety compliance and maintaining accurate maintenance records; collaborating with a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Qualifications emphasize 5-7 years of diesel/trailer mechanic experience, strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics, and a safety-conscious, team-oriented approach.
