Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers to ensure safety and performance; diagnose and fix diesel engine issues from minor tune-ups to major overhauls; perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and brake inspections; troubleshoot and repair trailer systems (brakes, suspension, lighting, hydraulics); ensure safety compliance and accurate maintenance records; collaborate with a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Prior experience with diesel and trailer systems, strong knowledge of brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics, and a willingness to work on-site in Arcadia, WI are required. Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics
- CDL or certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
